I am creating a Facebook page that is inspired by the work of the Spirit of God that transforms us. The verse I am using is Isaiah 61:3 which promises God’s transformation and exchange of His beauty, joy and praise for our ashes, mourning and despair. The verse concludes that He makes this exchange that we might be seen as “oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of His splendor.”
As such, I wanted a picture of a grove of oaks to use as the main image on the page and perhaps, later, on a personally owned website. I found one on your site and wish to use it. I understand it may be copyrighted and want to obtain written permission for its use. The image is on the home page of your website and is captioned, “Waverly old grove, morning light.”
I have the image up at https://www.facebook.com/For-the-Display-of-His-Splendor-104793317922371 so you can go and see which photo it is and how it is to be displayed. If I am unable to obtain permission to use it, I will, of course, remove it immediately.
Would you please advise what you would require to use the image?
Thank you!
Grace and Peace ~
